About me
My 12-year career in the field of visual design has given me a wide range of experience. I started as an Exhibitions Designer at The Field Museum, where I began designing experiences and interactions that often combined graphic design with other disciplines like multimedia or interaction design.
My experience has taught me to be an excellent brand steward, working within design systems while also creating innovative, user-friendly designs. I leverage my insatiable curiosity, hunger for learning, and drive to create great work. I have a knack for understanding complex problems and finding simple solutions.

I took this Milky Way Panorama on March 14, 2021 @ 4:30am in Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest at East Twin Lake. The sky is so dark (Bortel 2) that the zodiacal light can be seen on the north side. Light pollution on the right is coming from the town of Clam Lake. Planned with the help of one of my favorite apps, Photopills. Stitched together with PTGui Pro.
What I do when I'm not working
I enjoy taking too many pictures of my fur kids Kay and Journey. I love the challenge of high-elevation hikes in the mountains even though I'm out of shape. I'm a huge fan of traveling to areas with low light pollution so I can take photos of the milky way. I'm an ambitious individual who's constantly looking to learn a new skill. I am an avid hobby collector. Some of my most recent hobbies include:
Astrophotography
Cartography
Drone piloting
Landscape photography
Nail art
At-home hair color
Maybe I'm biased, but I have the cutest fur kids:

Me (pink shirt) at my first job as a designer. This is an "all hands on deck" moment when I left my cubical and iMac behind to help the production crew wrap up the installation of a new museum exhibition.
